Limitations in Sims 4 ... need I say more? And the trees ... the trees are so horrible in Sims 4 - so fake. But, I used them... Blahhhh....

Wow! You did a tremendous job with the park, Melody! I'm glad you did this now, rather than right in the beginning, because of the water! Fantastic interpretation. Kudos!!! :joy:

Thank you - I did get in a rush to finish and get it uploaded due to interruptions; and it wasn't until later that I realized I wanted to add boulders and rocks, as well as some different landscaping grasses and sands.

I didn't realize there was a difference in the water. The original, of course is a fishing pond; but again, pure laziness on my part. I justify that by thinking to myself "Self, there are so many places the sims can go fishing - they really don't need another place." So, I went with the "Fountain" instead. I do like that. I was wishing I would have turned it into a pool - but then, I'm going to have a community pool and that's a park, not a place to go swimming. I also decided on the horseshoe game rather than extending the fountain over that way and trying to figure out how to do a bridge over it. (The least amount of work at this stage in my life - the better.) :evillaugh:

I was thinking that we didn't have fountains in the beginning, but I guess we did. I was also thinking that your water in the park might be a pool, but now I see that it isn't. Of course, in the beginning, we couldn't put in the fishing holes, then when we could, they wouldn't stick. Now we can do just about any type of water feature, thankfully, except natural water ponds, which I miss!

You know, I don't remember! I guess I only know what we have now. They've made it "unnaturally" difficult to do the ponds. We should NOT have to use a cheat and go to some hidden area to find and use them. That is just ridiculous. So - I would just as soon use what is available "naturally" in the game without having to go hunt it down and use cheats to find it. Maybe, in the future, they will fix that error in judgment and make it where we can use our build tools to dig out a pond - same as laying down a pool or fountain. :uhhuh:

I'm working on the Community Pool now. Changing up the Sims 2 version of the Pleasantview Pool. I think it will be really nice. :yeah:
