Postby MelodyOkie » May 22nd, 2015, 11:40 pm

10 Hyacinth Circle is the home of Mickey and Riley Harlow from Four Corners. See their story here: viewtopic.php?f=380&t=2778&p=19047#p19047

Both are available in the Gallery under OkieMelody or you can grab their zip files I've provided. The Sims at the above link and the home:

Got it! Hooray!

I do wish we had some stressed siding like is on the original of this house!

I made a bunch of it in HomeCrafter, for TS2. Just having a convenient tool like that would be nice!!! (sigh)

Yes, in the case of creating homes, I do not like the restrictions with this game. We are so limited to what has been made available (not much)... very little matches with what has been made available and it really makes creativity difficult. When I recreated these Sims 2 homes for Sims 3 - I was able to match it almost perfectly; I've not even tried for Sims 4 because there is no way to do that. Same goes with the sims clothing; matching colors, etc. It is useless to even try to do that in Sims 4... :uhuh:

At least some of that will be at least helped as we go along, as usual. I always wonder if some of the main Sims designers are totally color blind!!!

Also, I know that not everyone always makes homes with matching everything, and I suppose that the designers think that way. Still...most people DO tend to at least try to make things complement each other, but most times--at least in the early versions of the games--it's very hard to do that, with what EA has set up as "matching" sets!!!
