The Jordons and their home - The Malik

This is the place to share the Sims you have created. You may either tell us how to find them in the Gallery, or attach your files here. We have a tutorail to explain how that's done.

The Jordons and their home - The Malik

Postby MelodyOkie » November 17th, 2014, 12:21 am

Some years ago, back at the old site, I did a contest which consisted of building 5 homes for Sim Families which were given to the winners of the challenges. I can not remember what the name of the challenge series was. (sigh) So - I've named my new Game Jordon Run Estates and have started with the 3rd family in the contest series because of their name - Jordon :-)

Anyway - I did not share those families with anyone else, since they were given as the prize to the winners of each home-building contest and belonged with that particular home.

I've decided, I would recreate my version of each home along with the Sims 4 version of the families.

The Jordon's and The Malik are available in the Gallery under OkieMelody.

Thank you both! I didn't think to post pictures of their Sims 3 counterparts - which I like the Sims 3 house version much better!

Really? I thought Wendy won this one, but again - it's been so long ago and I no longer have my notes on the contest. But actually - you have all Wendy's stuff. But - you might have won this particular one as well. I think you and Wendy won all of them, between you, except one. Wish I knew what happened to my notes...

I've not shared them with anyone except the person who won the contest. :yeah: :friends:

(I've been tempted at times, but just could not bring myself to do it because it didn't seem right.)

I believe Wendy did win this one. I was just saying that I like the pictures of both the TS3 and TS4 versions.

The Jordon's needed a home, which was the 3rd house building contest in this series (Wellspring of Magic) They were awarded to Anika who won this contest.

There is a bit of mystery surrounding this family. No one seems to know where they came from, or how they got to Portal, Connecticut and most specifically, how they got to their little Neighborhood of Wellspring.

Kaida is the star of this little family. Although no older than the other girls in this small community, she still feels like an older sister to them. She loves her new friends, being a part of their "club" and just hanging out with them. Kaida loves crafts, unicorns, sports, the outdoors and she is a very creative young girl. Her mother encourages her creative side, although Kaida's Adventurous side gives her gray hair!!

Kaida's Mother - OkChu is from Korea. Kaida gets her creativity from her mother who sculpts and makes pottery to sell, using traditional Korean designs and technique. She has no trouble selling her beautiful pottery.

Kaida's Dad - Malik encourages her adventurous side. He is quite adventurous himself and takes Kaida with him when he goes rock-climbing, skiing and white water rafting. He has even promised to take her hang gliding someday. When he isn't off on some adventure, Malik is a Computer Software Designer.

I wish I would have found them before I started the Sims 4 versions!! But, at least I finally found them. I am still missing the 5th family story, but will cross that bridge when I get to it!

I'm also excited that there is one area (neighborhood) that has 5 lots (in Willow Creek), which is perfect for this set of families. It just fits!!. Wish I would have had an area lilke this in Sims 3 when I set-up the contest. I always intended to build a small world for them, that fit the story; but I just never made it into CaW to figure out how. :friends:

I wish I'd known more about CaW back then, too! It would have been fun to make that world for you!

It would have been so nice! Especially to add the park that is in the story to go along with the small neighborhood they lived in!! And Sims 3 had Tree Houses - which would have been perfect for in the park for the girls to meet at. Oh, well - time does have a way of moving on, doesn't it!?
