I've not had a chance to even go into the game since I last posted. So much going on around here!! Hoping to get some building time during the week as we get things done for our Family Christmas Celebration. :uhhuh:

I think everyone is pretty much in that type of situation right now. We'll have plenty of time after New Year's. ;-)

I hope, between cleaning bathrooms and trying to finish up some Christmas shopping and wrapping, I'll have a chance to put together the family room, office nook, kitchen and dining space. Well - after listing all of that, it will probably take me a few days to get all of that done. :evillaugh:

I have my house finished, but will work on the landscaping tomorrow. I just discovered that I don't have the mom and dad married! Oops! I'll fix that before I upload them.

Uh Oh! I've done that also when creating the family. It doesn't come up and ask you to specify relationships like Sims 3 did. That area where you can designate relationships is not always there and you have to go find it - if you think about it; which I have trouble thinking these days. So there have been a number of unmarried couples with kiddos .... couples that don't even know each other!! (sigh) :uhuh: :evillaugh:

I actually found that they WERE married, when I checked out them in CAS, so that made me realize that there had to be another reason that he wouldn't go sleep in the same bed.

The reason made me a little irritated, because I had set the dresser alongside the bed, where the game allowed it to go, but it was keeping him from accessing the bed! I ended up having to slightly re-engineer the bedroom, then all was fine.

Mine were not because I had not used the relationship thingy. (sigh)

Spacing is definitely an issue in Sims 4 for me. :uhhuh:

I've had that happen to me, too, which is why I thought it had happened again. Then I discovered the real reason, and I was going, "Really, EA? You couldn't tell me that the dresser couldn't REALLY go there?" (sigh)

Well...I had to rearrange the bedroom just a little more, because for some reason the parents wouldn't use the door going into the bathroom from their bedroom, autonomously. If I MADE them do it, they would, but on their own, they'd go through the nursery, THEN into the bathroom.

Finally got that all fixed, then began working on the yard. I decided to extend one of the porch areas, and I got the basic yard lights in, and the BBQ stuff out on the extended kitchen porch.

Now I'm fidgety and decided I couldn't sit still long enough to finish the yard, which will contain a fairly large swimming pool and some garden planters.

Dinner's just about ready, anyway, so I'll finish the lot tomorrow.

I had intended to get some work done on my lot, but didn't even bring the game up today. Time is non-existent it seems around here. I've also not accomplished a thing around the house today. I have no idea what I've done all day, I just know that 12 hours passed me by as if it were only 12 minutes. :uhuh:
