What do you think so far. Do you think it's too big? I can cut it down by a couple of bedrooms (or just make fewer, slightly larger bedrooms), and cut down the size of the family/game room area on the opposite side. Do you like the style?

I'm planning to do the third episode sometime today...itching to get back to it. I have a Minecraft challenge video that has to go up tonight, but I've already done the playing...just have to render the video and upload it. Hopefully I can get both uploaded tonight, since uploading TS4 videos only takes 20-40 minutes, vs. the 3 hours or so that it takes to upload a 20-minute Minecraft video.

OK, good. The third video has the basics of the kids' wing laid in. Fourth adds the master bedroom and a bit more. Have put R. Kee Tect to good use checking out the diagonal use of closets.

Sweet..... sometimes wish I had the Sims on the PC. Surely you don't have to have a beefed-up computer to play The Sims on a PC

I'm laughing mildly. :rotfl: Seriously, though, TS4 runs better than any of the others have, on a basically good computer. My daughter's computer has a dual AMD CPU at about 350 ghtz, with 8 gb of RAM and a 1GB graphics card. I previously was running on a quad-core AMD CPU, with 8 GB of RAM and a similar video card, until my motherboard gave up the ghost, and that was fine for TS4.

My brother bought me a new Dell, after my old one gave out, with an 8-core Intel CPU and 16 GB of RAM, plus a high-speed, 2 GB dedicated graphics card. The game flies, and even TS3 runs decently.

It's a high-end work computer, not a gaming computer, but it's the best machine I've ever owned, and the first one in many years, that I haven't built from scratch. I'm glad to have it, but TS4 doesn't really need all the extra power. Most people seem to be able to run it pretty easily on one like my daughter's older HP. We're running it very successfully on her machine.

Okay so I drug out my computer and plugged it all in now mind you this thing has Windows Vista on it..... Lol it has 2.00GB ram. A Intel Celeron cpu 450 @2.20Ghz... and it said something about a 64-bit..... operating system model it says Inspirion 537... yeah it's a little outdated I guess some new computer tech Guru but I don't know how to find all the performance stuff on the PC I'm just looking in the control panel

Nope...not gonna run any of the Sims games except the original, and MAYBE TS2. Vista was actually a pretty good operating system, and I think it would probably run the games, except for the lack of RAM. The Celeron chips were slower, too, and with just the single processor, speed would also be sacrificed.

Anyway...it sounds like your Xbox game runs OK, so unless you have at least $750-ish for a better computer, and another several hundred for all of the Sims 4 stuff to date, I wouldn't worry about it. :uhuh:

I made Episode 4 and forgot to set a timer, so it ended up about 35 minutes. I've divided it out (kind of weirdly, but it will end up OK.
