The Sims 4 Players' Guide (.pdf file you can download)

Patty posted this link earlier, in the chat panel. I thought it would be good to post it here. Clicking the link will bring up the .pdf file...you don't have to go anywhere else to download it.

I've just started reading through it. It looks like it could be quite helpful once we get our games! :joy:

I noticed last night, while looking through the cheats (which are good ones), that there is no moveobjects and no constrainfloorelevation. I kind of think we may not need MOO, but that reminded me that there will be no basements to begin with (there weren't in TS3, either, but they rectified that eventually), and probably every lot is totally flat...sigh.

Still...there is enough other awesomeness, that I can live with those limitations--at least for now. :uhhuh:

One thing that I was thinking about yesterday was that I have seen NO Rabbit Holes! So...I'm thinking the careers have gone back to being like they were in TS2...our Sims will just not "be there" when they are at work. That's one thing they could have shown in yesterday's Let's Play, that would have been quite constructive!

I didn't see anything in the manual about RHs, either, so...though the career system itself seems robust, I wonder how they've handled that exactly!

That's true about the jobs, maybe they'll let us know in another video, or we'll have to wait a few days!

I read that basically your Sim disappears and the game clocks until they come back home again (that was pretty much how it was in Sims 2). I'm thinking Motherlode and no working sims .... :evillaugh: :evillaugh: :evillaugh:
