Today was Barnacle Bay Day. I remembered how much I enjoyed playing the Adventure Sims with their homes; so I headed over to the land of sand. I saved each family in their home into my library and then placed them in Barnacle Bay (Egypt Bay - should have named it Egyptian Bay; but I didn't and there you have it ... (sigh) ).

This is definitely a world I know I will enjoy. I was also able to place the Egyptian Shopping Center and the Home Base which is an excellent camping grounds. The world is ready to play!! :yeah:

I have set-up a few worlds, well, a lot of worlds that should keep me busy. :yeah:

With all of that, I wish so much, that I had Monopoly! Despite any issues with the layers, I still loved that world and it was one of my favorites to play in. However, one would think that I have enough, looking at the list (pictures) above. :evillaugh:

They all look so lovely!!! I miss Monopoly, also. It's still in my game, and when I've gone in recently to set up testing for Andrea's Lorewood, I've seen it, and thought, "Such a shame about the sinking stuff!!!" I was in getting some information for another friend late last night, and saw it again, while looking for a good, fairly simple world from which to do a quick video to test out how it ended up using Movie Maker. I almost chose it...should have. The world I did choose was my one University world, and it's glitchy.

After changing the household I was playing, and having clicked on the abandoned tot, who has now been on the floor
at the farmer's market for well over 48 hours, knew it's name; I inadvertently realized that the next household I was
playing knew the tot's mother. I had my sim call and ask her to meet them at the farmer's market. After she arrived,
tot disappeared. So, I followed her home ...

Since, I believe one of the neighbors was working at the farmer's market, is the culprit that took the baby there, sat it down and then couldn't do anything with it. He worked around the clock until I found the baby's mother, followed her home, then switched to that household. Then he came home and went straight to the baby's crib!! Why, since he was, basically, a member of that household, why he could not take care of the child, I will never know. But, there for awhile, I was sure that child was going to meet death and I wasn't sure what to do about it. So glad I knew it's name and then realized the mother was an acquaintance of my sim!! (Whew! - disaster averted!)

And here he is!! The Baby thief!!

A note - I just totally love that mobile home lot, Linda!! :uhhuh:

I lost Monopoly when I uninstalled, reinstalled and switched over to Windows 10. I thought I had my files in a safe place, however, Windows 10 found it during the reinstall and all my files were overwritten. (sigh)

Oh, I'm so glad that you found the mom! It is neat that you CAN do that kind of thing in TS3, even though you get the occasional glitch like that guy taking the baby with him to work!

You never about those trailer park people, you know?

I took down the Monopoly world, didn't I? (going quickly to look)

Yeah...I did. I have it in my game, though. I can post a copy of the world, in it's most current guise, if you want it. It does still work for a lot of stuff. You just have to watch to see if things sank. Not sure the edge fishing works, but there are fishing lots that can be added. I can post my saved world, too, that has all the most current lots in it, I think. Or I could put everything onto our server and then post the download links.

If I just put a notice that it's "play as is" or something like that, then others may still want it, too. Let me know.

Yes, yes and yes!! Please!! I would love to have it!! I think it would be fine to put it here - although not "perfect", it's still a wonderful place for our sims to call home!! :yeah:

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!! :joy:

I've been in here for a couple of hours, but Judi came in and we started discussing some fun things, and time ran away from me (as usual).

So...I will now start on this project by getting the world itself uploaded, then I'll follow that, as I can, with my saved world. I think you and I put all of the individual lots into our CC areas, didn't we? NOTE: I just checked, and mine are there. I didn't check your area, but I think you did, too.

I have played my saved world a little bit, so some lots may be changed slightly. So you could use that and change out what you want, or just use the world file and put everything else back in. I'm pretty sure I have the few other lots archived. Just went and checked, and yes, they are in the regular TS3 Lots areas, so that's good.

OK...getting busy in a few minutes.

I checked earlier, and I believe I may have most of the ones I created, along with them placed on larger lots. I was worried that one we switched them over for regular worlds, that I wouldn't have the originals on the Monopoly sized lots - but I do have quite a few of them. I will also check here to see what I might be missing for it. :uhhuh:

I've just found some of them, too, and will post the uploads right under the page links for each one.
