My Sims & I

Postby PattyHeart » August 10th, 2016, 7:36 pm

Owing to health issues and other things that life can toss at you and I my Sims have needed to take a back seat for a good, long while. Happily, things are now back to where more time can be devoted to playing and creating.

Like you I do have everyday responsibilities and other interests to enjoy keeping up with. One of the reasons that I've had less time for Sims (despite not having lost interest) has been learning how to paint, assemble realistic art baby dolls ( some call these 'reborn dolls') I also help to manage our little farm, write stories, take part in local community events as much as possible, spend time with family, knit or crochet when something is needed, etc., and so on. Being a Lady Gamer I also play other games such as the Fallout series and once in a while share chatty old lady chats via You Tube.

Thank you, Linda W. for keeping Neighborly SimsCraft "on the air"!! :joy:

My 'babies' really are a lot of fun and can be comforting to hold 'n snuggle.

Gerry is 6 to 9 months. Big little boy!
Have a smaller baby nearly done (for a friend) and promised to do a small (newborn-3month) size boy for a great niece. Takes a good long while from start to finish.

I ended up needing to set ( and more aside) owing to a series of health issues which took time to cope with and to resolve ( or simply learn how to manage.) I am doing well now and yet must continue to take care. Recovering from so much took more time than I had anticipated!

I am ever so thankful to have had Patty Anne's Place waiting for me to re-open. This is something to plan for, create for and to look forward to. No pressure. No hurry. Free to move forward at whatever speed is possible :-)

I am so glad that you can do more once again! I totally understand how long it takes to recover from some things. I can do more, now, since both hip surgeries, than I gave been able to, for a very long time, but I still have to be careful. I've pushed a bit too far, this weekend, and am very tired today. I'll be OK, though. I'm so thankful to even be able to do things like the "extreme pie baking" couple of days, even though I'm paying a bit of a price. ;-)
