This is a new game that is currently in development. Thank you to Meadow for posting about it in the old NS forums!

Latest Roadmap: https://forums.station.sony.com/eqnlandmark/index.php?threads/eqnl-roadmap.18810/

EQ Next Landmark is an online social game that features exploring, building, mining and lots more. It is currently in the alpha stage, but you can access it by purchasing a Founder's Pack.

I can't wait to play this game! I'll be saving up my money to purchase one of the Founder's Packs next payday!

That sounds like a pretty good plan. :uhhuh: Thanks for sharing, Meadow.

Linda, it looks like some people have the same thoughts as we do. I found this in the comments.

At the moment, the game feels like "EverQuest Minecraft"

Closed beta is about to start:

https://forums.station.sony.com/eqnland ... eta.25504/

Unfortunately, I was still working on my tool and crafting station progression (was finally closing in on finishing it), and building at all on my claim, since I haven't had time at all to play past the first week of alpha, and now everything is getting wiped back to square one... *sigh*

Oh, I've got a few 1 week closed beta access keys to give away if anyone wants one. (Just as soon as I figure out where SOE sends/puts them, anyway.)

Carrie, if you haven't purchased a Founder's Pack yet, the key I offered you before still stands.

I SO wish I could do the beta, but there's just no way right now. Doggone it! I'll be eagerly awaiting the open beta pictures you'll be able to post, though!

Carrie -

Good news! I just read that they decided to make the shareable keys like the one I gave you untimerestrictred instead of the 1-week access they had originally planned.

https://forums.station.sony.com/landmar ... eys.25547/

So you can hop in whenever you want and don't need to feel at all rushed. ;-)

Would anyone else like a key? I have at least 2 left. (Offered one of my three remaining keys to a friend, waiting to see if they want it.)

Carrie -

I don't know if you'd want to do this or not, but if we find adjacent/nearby claims we could help each other out by sharing crafting stations and the like. The claims could always be moved later, and at some point multiple claims will be available (possibly now since I see the claim flags now craftable instead of 1 auto given per person).

I'm thinking I saw some snow on the edges of the new biome it loaded me into this morning. If so, I'll be looking for a spot in the snow for my claim. I'm nuts about snow. :yeah:

Hooray! I'm glad there's no time restriction now. :joy:

I'll log in this weekend. Sharing crafting stations if we are close to each other is fine with me. ;-)
