Snowstorm - March 2014

Hold this spot for more snowy pictures. We're supposed to get 8-12 inches of snow and 1 inch of ice tonight and tomorrow. Is anyone else getting wintery weather? Share your pictures here!

We have had cold, cold, frigid temps once again, with smatterings of dry, powdery snow every other day or so, with more light snow coming in tonight. The winds have been high and awful, too. I just want to get out of this winter!!!

Yuck! We're supposed to get some of that in a few days. Not looking forward to that, even if I don't have to go out in it! David has to go to work, and I hate it when he has to drive 8 miles one way to get there, and the roads are icy!

Also, Judi and Elizabeth are flying to Florida on Wednesday, and Harry is driving her to Minneapolis to fly out, while Jonny is at their house with the boys. I hate that she's going, anyway (it's only for five days, but I just hate that she will be gone that long), and if the weather doesn't cooperate, I'm going to be even more tense!

:friends:

It rained for most of yesterday and I woke up during the middle of the night to ice hitting the window. It started snowing a little while ago. I think we have about an inch so far. It's windy and very cold too. The kids are out of school today. Depending on how much we end up getting, they might be out tomorrow too. At this rate, they'll be going until July! :ohno:

Wow! What a difference in temps and weather!!!

Our forecast is saying we'll be getting up into the mid-20s on Wednesday (still very, very cold today and tomorrow), and then for the next week, we should be escalating to mid- to high-30s. Woot!

Brrrrr! Our high is supposed to be 15 degrees today with below zero tonight. Tomorrow should be in the low 30s. We've gotten about 5 inches of snow so far. It had slowed down for a little while but has picked up again. I'm not sure the kids will go to school tomorrow since it's supposed to be so cold tonight. I'm looking forward to the 50s they're calling for on Saturday!

Eek! Well...we've had the least wintery winter in quite some time, no settled snow here, a little hail from time to time, it's been very mild, very wet, terrible flooding down south. We are near a river but we are uphill quite a way, so there won't really be flooding here, thankfully! It's been lovely today, cold but bright clear skies, although this morning was so foggy, you could hardly see!

Lisa! You're using your little kitty and all the luscious chocolates again, for your avatar! So cute!

We have next to no snow on the ground, either, and we really need some. It's been so dry here for the third winter, and going on the third summer. I think the farmers are VERY worried about this summer!

I'll ask our southerners to send you some water

I am glad you are happy to see choccie kitty again, I wanted a change and I grabbed one that I am on the same wavelength as, I can't keep off the sweet stuff, there always seems to be a temptation, although I manage to rein myself back in to keep any extra gain off.

It's 7 degrees right now and I'm freezing! The kids are home from school again today. It's so frigid out there, so I can definitely understand why. :uhhuh:

Love your avatar, Lisa! :-)
