Carrie's Craft Stuff

Well....after 3 attempts and 2 lots of pulling it all out, I got a circle scarf! I must say it's harder to get started or I found that to be the case, but once I was going, loved the fact I could just keep going, it grew so fast that way and no nasty seam! The 2nd pic makes it look like a steering wheel warmer :rotfl:

That's so cool!!! I love the colors, too. :uhhuh:

You can also do flat pieces on circular needles. Just don't connect at the end of the cast-on stitches...turn and go back with purling, as on two needles. It just makes holding very large pieces (like the backs of adult sweaters) much easier. :uhhuh:

Well...that wool was a buy last year, from Hobbycraft, I went to get a reel of cotton for doing bottoms of jeans, came out with 9 balls of wool, 2 sets of needles and a pattern for hats too :evillaugh:

I like wools with different colours through, you ever get bored that way, always something new coming up ;-) I have a gorgeous neon multi colour too, which I knitted up last year into a scarf and hat.

I love the multis, too. :uhhuh: I'd be the same way at the store. I never seem to be able to come out with just the thing I need...sigh.

Thanks Carrie! I wouldn't have even attempted it without you mentioning circular needles ;-)

I am feeling a knitting need now :rotfl: almost stopped at hobbycraft, just as well I was late for my grandparents, didn't have time or I've a feeling I'd have succumbed to more yarn!
